On 28 of April 2026, an online workshop organized by Alternativi International team within the Erasmus+ project “InnovatorsLab: Gen Z’s Game-Based Peacebuilding” brought together young people from different communities to explore innovative educational tools designed to support peacebuilding and active citizenship.
The main focus of the event was the presentation of the InnovatorsLab E-learning Platform, which offers a unique learning experience combining digital education, non-formal learning methodologies, and game-based approaches.
Participants were introduced to the platform's structure and learning opportunities, including modules focused on understanding Generation Z, building empathy, developing communication skills, managing conflicts constructively, and using game-based learning as a tool for social change.
Throughout the session, participants discussed the challenges young people face today, including misunderstandings, stereotypes, online communication barriers, and social divisions. The platform was presented as a practical resource that can help young people strengthen critical thinking, cooperation, and dialogue skills through engaging and interactive learning experiences.
The workshop also highlighted the project's commitment to creating educational resources that resonate with the learning preferences of Generation Z. By combining digital tools with innovative methodologies such as educational escape rooms and empathy-based activities, InnovatorsLab aims to make peacebuilding education more relevant and impactful.
The positive response from participants demonstrated the growing interest in flexible online learning opportunities that address real-world social issues while encouraging active participation and personal growth.
Through activities like this, the InnovatorsLab partnership continues to expand the reach of its educational resources and support young people in becoming active contributors to more inclusive, understanding, and resilient communities.
