On 8 May 2026, Alternativi International organized an international dissemination and networking event bringing together 23 educators, trainers, and youth professionals from different countries to discover the outcomes of the Erasmus+ project “InnovatorsLab: Gen Z’s Game-Based Peacebuilding.”
The event provided participants with an opportunity to explore the project's innovative educational resources designed to support peacebuilding, dialogue, and conflict transformation among young people.
During the session, participants were introduced to:
– The InnovatorsLab E-learning Platform;
– The project's educational modules on peacebuilding and game-based learning;
– The Empathy Cards, developed to stimulate reflection, understanding, and constructive communication;
– The Educational Escape Room Methodology and Guidelines;
– Innovative approaches for engaging Generation Z through interactive learning experiences.
Beyond the presentation of the project results, the event created a valuable space for international exchange and professional dialogue. Participants discussed current challenges facing young people across Europe, shared experiences from their educational and youth work contexts, and explored practical ways of integrating the InnovatorsLab tools into their future activities.
The discussions generated numerous ideas for follow-up initiatives, future collaborations, and new opportunities to use game-based learning as a tool for promoting empathy, cooperation, and peaceful conflict transformation.
By bringing together professionals from diverse backgrounds, the event further contributed to the dissemination of innovative peacebuilding practices and strengthened the growing network of educators committed to empowering young people through meaningful learning experiences.
