As part of the Erasmus+ project “InnovatorsLab: Gen Z’s Game-Based Peacebuilding”, Alternativi International organized a dissemination and learning event for 10 educators from Petrich.
During the session, participants were introduced to the project's innovative educational resources developed to support peacebuilding and conflict transformation among young people. Special attention was given to the InnovatorsLab E-learning Platform, the Empathy Cards, and the Guidelines for Educational Escape Rooms, all designed to help educators and youth workers create more engaging and meaningful learning experiences for Generation Z.
The workshop provided an opportunity to explore how game-based learning can be used to promote communication, empathy, cooperation, and active participation in educational settings. Participants discussed practical ways to integrate these tools into their daily work with young people and exchanged ideas on addressing social challenges through innovative non-formal education methods.
The event generated valuable discussions about the future of peace education and highlighted the importance of equipping educators with modern tools that resonate with today's learners.
Through activities like this, the InnovatorsLab project continues to support teachers, educators, and youth workers in creating more inclusive, participatory, and impactful learning environments.
