On 22 April 2026, Alternativi International organized a local dissemination event in Bansko as part of the Erasmus+ project “InnovatorsLab: Gen Z’s Game-Based Peacebuilding.”
The event brought together 26 young people, who had the opportunity to learn more about the project's innovative approach to peacebuilding through game-based learning and non-formal education.
During the event, participants explored the main outcomes developed so far within the project, including:
– The InnovatorsLab E-learning Platform, featuring educational modules on Generation Z, game-based learning, peacebuilding, and conflict transformation;
– The Empathy Cards, designed to encourage reflection, active listening, understanding, and dialogue among young people;
– The Guidelines for Educational Escape Rooms, providing practical tools and methodologies for youth workers and educators interested in using game-based learning for peacebuilding activities.
The presentation sparked engaging discussions about the role of empathy, communication, and cooperation in addressing conflicts and building more inclusive communities. Participants showed particular interest in how interactive learning methods can make important social topics more accessible and engaging for young people.
The dissemination event provided an excellent opportunity to gather feedback from local youth while increasing awareness of innovative educational tools that support peacebuilding and active citizenship among Generation Z.
