On 1 June 2026, a dissemination activity was held at the YPE office under the project “InnovatorsLab: Gen Z’s Game-Based Peacebuilding.” The activity aimed to share the project results, present tools developed within the project, and introduce participants to the learning experiences gained through the job shadowing activity.
The session was facilitated by Ani, who was one of the job shadowing participants. Ani took part in the job shadowing activity in Bulgaria, and during the meeting she shared her experience with the participants. She presented what she learned during the activity, what methods and practices she observed, and how this experience can be useful for youth work and non-formal education.
In addition to the job shadowing presentation, Ani introduced the participants to the main outcomes of the InnovatorsLab project. She presented the Empathy Cards, which were developed within the project as a practical tool for promoting empathy, communication, and reflection among young people. Participants had the opportunity to explore the cards and understand how they can be used in educational activities.
The session also included the presentation of escape room scenarios, which are part of the guidebook developed under the InnovatorsLab project. Participants were introduced to the concept of using escape rooms as an educational method for peacebuilding, teamwork, and conflict transformation. They also played together and tested some elements of the escape room activities, which made the session more interactive and engaging.
During the activity, the InnovatorsLab online platform was also presented. Participants received information about the tools and materials available on the platform, including learning resources and project outcomes. Ani also shared the social media pages of the InnovatorsLab project, so participants could follow future updates and access more information about the project.
