Intermediate Meeting- Bucharest, Romania

Between 2–5 October 2025, the intermediate meeting of the project Innovators Lab coordinated by ALTERNATIVI INTERNATIONAL took place in Bucharest, Romania, hosted by Asociatia Se Poate. The event brought together project partners from Youth for Peace and Equality (Georgia), Nicea Kultur ve Egitim Dernegi (Turkey), and Armenian Progressive Youth NGO (Armenia).

The meeting provided an excellent opportunity to review the progress achieved so far, evaluate the project’s results, and discuss the upcoming activities within the consortium. Among the main topics addressed were:

• -the development and implementation of the e-learning platform;
  -the creation of the Peace & Empathy Cards;
  -the integration and further development of the Escape Room methodology and the creation of the project’s own thematic Escape Rooms designed to promote peacebuilding and conflict transformation;
  - planning of the next steps for the GenZ PeaceLabs initiatives.
   
• A highlight of the meeting was the visit to an Escape Room in Bucharest, where participants experienced firsthand the learning potential of gamified educational environments. This practical activity contributed to the refinement of the project’s Escape Room methodology and the conceptualization of its interactive Escape Rooms to be implemented in partner countries.

 

The discussions also covered project management, quality assurance, dissemination strategies, and upcoming events, ensuring a clear and structured path toward the project’s final phase.

The Bucharest meeting reaffirmed the partners’ commitment to promoting peace, empathy, and intercultural understanding through innovative, experiential learning tools designed for and with young people across Europe.
