The InnovatorsLab: Gen Z’s Game-Based Peace Building project held its pilot training course in Bansko, Bulgaria from 7 to 15 July 2025. The event brought together youth workers, peace educators, trainers, and facilitators from Bulgaria, Georgia, Armenia, Türkiye, and Romania.
The training focused on testing the project’s new educational tools, including the e-learning platform and the Peace and Empathy Cards. Participants learned how to use these resources in their work with young people, helping them build skills in conflict resolution and peacebuilding through creative, game-based approaches.
The training also served to check the platform’s usability and gather feedback for improvements. Each partner selected participants based on specific profiles to ensure quality and safety during the mobility.
Accommodation and meals were provided by Alternativi International, and participants stayed at Royal Bansko Aparthotel. The program included daily sessions, intercultural evenings, and opportunities to exchange experience and ideas.
This pilot event was a key step in shaping the final version of the project’s tools and ensuring they meet the needs of youth workers across Europe.
